We are seeking an Art Editor to oversee the conception, development, and execution of editorial design projects for print and digital materials. This role is responsible for ensuring visual excellence, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. The Art Editor plays a key role in the editorial production process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content that meets project objectives and deadlines.

  • Develop and oversee editorial graphic design projects
  • Create, review, and approve layouts, covers, and interior pages
  • Guide designers, illustrators, and suppliers
  • Organize files and digital assets
  • Ensure aesthetic quality and legibility
  • Monitor the entire editorial workflow
  • Ensure adherence to brand and technical requirements
  • Meet deadlines and schedules
  • Review materials before publication

Requisitos e qualificações

  • Degree in Design, Visual Arts or related fields
  • Experience as an Art Editor or Editorial Designer
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with editorial materials (books, textbooks)
  • Knowledge of typography, grid and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Attention to detail and organization Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of graphic production
  • Experience with digital/UX
  • English proficiency (reading and writing)
  • Experience in communicating with suppliers
  • Experience working with the National Textbook Program (PNLD) or similar programs is a plus
